Rico Transparent and Enemies Invisible

Just got the game on sale. In the first mission, my character is almost fully transparent. I thought this might be normal or something so I kept playing. Only about 2 minutes later I noticed a good majority of the enemies were also invisible. Any help/suggestions for how to fix? Thanks.

Late answer but i think it's about the framerate because this game will have issues at high fps, i have had the same issue but capping the framerate to 60fps fixes it.

As they stated, turning vertical sync on did it for me.
