It is similar in the way that you just cause mass chaos all over the map. A bit of a simpler version of 3 and 4. Still very good.

the missions are great, some are repetitive but some are very good, overall epic game if you are ready to not use wingsuit but travel with planes/cars buts its totally worth it

How is it compared to JC3 and 4? Literally the same but without wingsuit or different?

Hi, for me JC2 was the best part from the series. I´ve tested JS4 and it was not my game. In JS3 you have a fast travel with your map or wingsuit. But in JC2 you can destroy all red targets with fun and i love it. On sale it`s not expensive. Make your try.

I've finished 3 and 4, people often say 3 is upgraded 2 and 4 is a small downgrade from 3
Idk where the truth...
My main problem with buying 2 is that graphics (and possibly physics) look old and outdated
That's why I'm asking is it the same as 3 and 4 in terms of gameplay

Its much much better but no wingsuit, it does compensate for it with great vehicle handling , and there is always the Silverbolt ;) (You'll know what I mean if you start playing)

Its similar, there are no overthetop guns and vehicles but the missions are a little more fun, just play it dude, you wont regret it

Yes worth buying. I have 3 and its ok but its fun to come back to this one screw up the place:)

I've always liked 2 over 3 and 4. If you haven't already, play 1 aswell.

You can also fast travel in JC2 if you have discovered a location (once you enter a town or get close to a base, it is added to your map - you can then press 4, then E to call the arms dealer, who will offer extraction as long as you're not wanted/in conflict. It's about as good as part 3 (if not better), JC4 is definitely by far the worst part of the series.

JC2 is my personal favourite of the series. I gave JC3 a try and it fulfilled the old curse of any series: 1 is good, 2 is superb, 3 is meh and 4 will be trash. Good examples: Terminator movie series, Alien movie series and lots of game series too, and so on.

Maybe one day I will try to get the last few achievements, when I still have my savegame somewhere.
