Elastigirl Bug
I was trying to do Above Parr and i cant open the door you need to hit a guard while being in a vent but my attack never works

I also have this problem. I noticed it earlier in the game too, but it's essential at this part...

I found a really weird way to get it to work it works sometimes so you have to do it multiple times but opening the steam overlay completes the animation you have to line it up so it may take some time. It’s also needed for the final level.

Just ran into this, too, and tried the old standby for Lego game glitches. Go into Options and change your V-sync option to the opposite of whatever it is. You might have to still try a couple times, but it worked for me. Then I just switched it back. I have no idea why that works, but it's been a weird glitch in Lego games (the PC versions, at least) for a long time.
