Audio Issue when using HDMI
I don't know what causes this, but on a select few of my games, this one included, I cannot for any reason send the audio through my HDMI cable. My default is set to my TV through the HDMI, but the game switches it back to my laptop so I can only get audio output from my laptop's speakers. Just about everything else on my computer will send the audio through the HDMI cable. I've run into the problem with one other game other than this one. Oddly, Marvel Superheroes 2 worked fine with my setup, so I'm not sure what's changed with this game that it doesn't work, anymore.

Disable the laptops speakers.
That doesn't work. Then I just get no audio.
You completely disabled the device on Windows and it's still trying to play audio through a disabled device...?
Yep.

I sort of got it to work. It'll send the audio through the HDMI cable if I run in windowed mode, but not in full screen, then it tries to use either the speakers or the headphone output. Doesn't matter what my default is, doesn't matter if I disable the other options, it refuses to use the HDMI output if I'm running in full screen.

i am having the same issue. No audio through hdmi on fullscreen, but have audio if in windowed mode with hdmi. hopefully someone can figure this out
I am having the same issue, but in my case it is related to a piece of software (Nahimic) that came bundled with my laptop. Once turned off, the sound works perfectly.

I had this issue with many games actually but since the software increases volume, I still keep it and just turn it off when problems appear.

Not sure if this will help you, but apart from making sure your sound drivers are up to date, I would also check for any third party sound apps like Nahimic.
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!!!

I too am having this problem. Lil' help?
I'm having the exact same issue with other Lego titles I just purchased (Avengers and Super Heroes 1&2). Did you have this resolved?
IIRC running full-screen borderless solves the problem.
