Split Screen Problem with controller
So i'm trying to play this game with controller but for some reason whenever I press one of the buttons it goes into split screen and makes me control both characters and does not let me play in single player mode and control one character at a time. Its really annoying playing like this. Anyone have a fix for this?????

I'm having the exact same issue! I can't find any answers online so far and it's very frustrating!

Unfortunately I'm now seeing that I have this problem with ALL of the LEGO games I've gotten on Steam. They're unplayable with my wireless Xbox controller because of this.

Yo bro i found a solution to this a while after i posted this on reddit. This is the link to the conversation I had with the guy who helped me https://www.reddit.com/r/legogaming/comments/k1qodm/lego_the_incredibles_split_screen_problem/

If people are still having this problem I found a suggestion online to go into your steam controller settings and to change your Xbox configuration. If it's on turn it off and if it's off turn it on and that worked for me.

What works for me is to put Steam in Big Picture to use it with the controller and unplug the keyboard and the mouse, then launch the game.
