Problem with rotating left stick puzzle

Hi, I'm stuck on the "Screenslaver Showdown" level at the part where Violet can sneak past Voyd but Dash has to remain behind. As Violet I'm trying to turn the wheel to open the half-open gate but can't get the technique right. I'm trying rotating the left stick at different speeds in a clockwise direction usually in time with the display on screen but the bar only builds up so far then resets. I've been trying for an hour but can't find a way to get past this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This one gets reported a lot. It's the only one in the game that's bugged this bad. The stick rotation is tied to the camera angle and they didn't account for that. The trick is to rotate the stick at a much slower speed then what is show on screen. If it resets, it's usually means you're going to fast. Took about 5 minutes of trying to find the sweet spot once I realised this.

I found a fix. I went to the controller settings and reduced the controller deadzone to zero. That let me rotate the left stick.

I've just been hitting F2 to bring in player 2, tapping numpad 3, then dropping player 2 out. It's such an annoying bug.

this game is a POS. wasted my money on it. i spent half an hour trying to rotate the lever at that Screenslaver level but it just won't work. Wish i could refund the game but its way past that. NEVER EVER BUYING A LEGO GAME EVER!

I can't seem to figure this out. I switched to keyboard and mouse and it says "tap k" and even that is not working for me. We are stuck at this spot.
