DLC Not Working?

Is this just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

I pre-ordered the game months back and the Parr family vacation DLC isn't loading up. I went into free roam to see if the characters were there but nope; nonexistent.

I bought the game 2 weeks after release and just bought the DLC a week ago, it's not working for me either. Googling suggests it's a common issue with lego games and no solution except reinstalling it may fix the problem but lego incredibles isn't backing up my prgress online so a reinstall may cost me a lot of work. One comment suggests the official release date of the vacation dlc is August 22nd but everyone already seems to have it.

Steam says the DLC got released on the 17th of July. Also I agree with you about not knowing how to get the DLC in the game. I pre ordered it on Apr. 4 of this year just so I can get the dlc.

There is a couple solutions.

Using the scene release crack unlocks the DLC properly.

The second option is, if you own the game legitimately, like myself, and if you have the DLC files on your possession, you can use a DLC unlocker for Steam, also known as creamapi. It unlocks the DLC characters.

Naturally, the Steam client clearly lists the Family Parr Vacation characters as owned by my account, because I pre-ordered the game; and due to devs not fixing their game, I have to use alternative and somewhat ilegal methods to be able to access the content I paid for? This is highly unpleasant.

Is creamapi a separate program?

So I need a crackzor to unlock a DLC on a legitimely bought game? What has the world come to?
Does it also solve the problem with the two red bricks that don't spawn?
