game broken small download size?
i was playing fine for a long time, had a crash last night, now sould harvest wont work, i tried verifying. reinstalling. i did notice when i went to reinstall soul harvest it says the game is 1.8gig? is this right, i could swear last time it was like 45ish

The whole game is around 50GB, looks like steam is only downloading the campaign content for you. You can try working this around by downloading SF3: Versus, it should download the missing files for you.

No luck, reinstalled all the spellforce games, same thing. just stops responding. everything was fine last night. now nothing i do fixes it. iv reinstalled steam, the game, verified cache. all my other games work no problems. what on earths going on

Try disabling steam cloud then manually deleting the files, steam cloud can sometimes save corrupted game files.

my DL size say 1.8 but I start
DL and its 31GB?

Soul harvest campaign content is around only 2GB.

Reforced one is likely 16-17 GB.(includes legacy SF3 too).

Not sure about fallen god but likely sub 10GB.

The "CORE" files are likely around 50 GB.

So in short you will always need the"core files" and the campaign files for the given game.

Steam does not always tell you the"true" install size.

Good idea to download the versus edition as it has all core files.

It seems if you do than Steam is more likely to tell you how much "true"GB you need for the respective campaign content.
