Wyvern Egg location?

I am in scorched desert, killed the wyvern matriarch and cleared the map but I don't see any egg. I reloaded a save and killed matriarch again but still no egg, I checked the ground where she died carefully. Any idea?

You need to go west and north, up the mountain, kill the big wyverns and at the edge of the map the egg will be there

Was in a hurry yeap it is west as Zane said, but probably you found it by now.

if you found the Matriarch walk south a bit further to her nest, she doesn't drop the egg herself. You can loot the nest for the egg quest item.

yup thanks for the info, found it in the map, thought the drake would drop it
