Berghol quest bug

So after completing Windwall outskirts scenario and burning spirits corpce in the dungeon i recived a "Essence of a Vengeful Spirit" just what Breghol orc asked for, no?
There is no new line or any kind of responce from him to turn in that item...
Asking again about relic just gets PC to says "ok i'll get it for you"...

Are you shapeshifted? I recall that quest did some odd things if you talked to Berghol while shifted, but I can't remember the specifics.

I do have maybe the same bug. In my case, i collected the third essence without turning in the second. So I could do this "questline" only twice - no more options for the third :(

For the third turnin, you need two essences (1 -> 1 -> 2), so I wouldn't say anything is bugged yet.

Ah, so with this info, I would say the quest text in german is wrong saying "Finde die Essenz EINES rachsüchtigen Geistes" and not "Finde zwei Essenzen von rachsüchtigen Geistern". And there is no 1/2 info.... :(

Oh, that doesn't sound right. The 1/2 should be there. See what happens when you find the last one.

You could also try swapping to English to see if it says 1/2 then.

It's a first turn-in, so i got only one. And i was shapeshifted when i talked to him first time... So the whole quest chain ruined?

I hope not. What happens when you talk to him outside shapeshift?

The problem with shifting here IIRC is that your equipment disappears (till you unshift), so Berghol can't take your relic and upgrade it.
