Question around the skill bars.
Not sure if I'm missing something. At the beginning of each mission each character has their own skill bar but they're in the middle of the screen for some reason. I had to close them out so I could see but I can't get them back in order to move them to the side/bottom for proper use. I'm only left with my main characters skill bar. What am I doing wrong?

They're not usable, they're just there to help organize skills you've used before. And the skill bar in the top isn't your main character skill bar, it's shared for your whole party.
According to devs (and it sounds sensible), those bars should appear only when there is a hotkey conflict. Anyway, if you closed them, you can still drag abilities to your bars from the ability trees (K) or the spellbook (L).

Got it, thanks. Too bad. Seems unnecessarily cramped and non-character specific.

I'm finding that generally there's a small set of abilities that you'll be using over and over. And some others that depending on your playstyle, you'll never use at all.

I generally like to keep a Light and Druidism heal up there, one or two powerful single-target ranged attacks, and something to make my frontline survive better. This might be the Combat/Demonology vortex of doom, the Light magic Shield, an AoE nuke, necromantic summons, there's a lot of ways to improve their odds. Be it slowing the rate they take damage, or rapidly removing the damagers.

Sometimes it's even Ice Shell, since it can be kinda funny to get everything mad at a tank who then turns himself invulnerable and cold-debuffs all the enemies around him.
