is this 1st person or 3rd?
I only played the first spell force years ago and loved it. do I need 2 and 3 to get into this one?

Spellforce 3 is the prequel for the SP1. So, you are not need to know scenario of SP2. In case of Soul Harvest, it starts right after SP3 original scenario. So, if you want to know detailes...

Thanks. can you switch to first person viwe? I remember the first one you could. But it's been a long time. i think it was a joowood game

There is no such option in SP3. Only isometric camera. But, seems like there is mod for 1st gameplay.

No SF game ever gave you an option to switch to first person. It was always 3rd person perspective from either bird's view or from behind your character.

Yes it was behind the character. Your right, It's been a few years. Is this one like that? or top down only?

Like people already said, there is no 1st person in SpellForce, only the standard RTS top down view and a 3rd person view, although the latter isn't present in soul harvest at release.
