what are the different outcomes of keeping the brooch and giving it to him?

Spoilers.. first time i beat the game i kept it and still found him dead in a ditch on the mission you liberate the dwarf capitol

When you give him the brooch, he says it won't be long before Baz realizes what he's done. So, you know, Huldark is probably marked for death by Baz the moment the theft is discovered. Doesn't matter what happens to the brooch.

idk if this is from the update or not for Spellforce 3 reforced but if you go to the Windwall Outskirts where the trolls where you find the guy again, and you gotta go kill bandits. Says there is a part 3 but haven't found where.
