I sent in a ticket: (#6666687) They told me to restart my console and check my network connection, so, yeah, bunch of help there.

Looks to be an AMD card-specific glitch, affects Superstar Alt/Custom attire & CAWs. I've got the same video card and this happens to me too. Issue doesn't happen on NVIDIA cards, verified that by slotting my old GTX 1050Ti into second PCI slot & running...my best guess is it's probably got something to do with AMD's newer video drivers.

Wish I knew how to fix it myself. :(

I appreciate the clarification, nothing but problems since I got this card. Here's hoping it happens soon, lol.

So I've waited through two driver versions since I posted this with the same issues. Anyone come up with anything?

I made a bit of progress on this... turns out it may be a similar deal that causes some of WWE 2k20's PC AMD problems. I took a moonshot gamble and attempted to apply the same fix to 2k19.

By following the below steps, it will actually fix the CAW/Custom Superstar "disco texture" AMD glitch in-game. But it also introduces a problem with displaying CAWs and Custom Superstars correctly in the Creation tool.

  • Go to the following Github link and download the D3D runtime fixes (latest version is 1.7.2)

    https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases

  • Extract the downloaded file using 7-Zip or another similar tool. You should now have a file that ends in .tar.gz.

  • Extract one more time from the .tar file, and you should now have a folder containg "x32" and "x64" folders.

  • Copy all of the .dll files from the "x64" folder into your WWE 2k19 base game folder.

It's definitely a direction to a good fix...if anyone else smarter than me can advise how to properly take it to the finish line, that would be greatly appreciated. =]

This is so close to being the solution. It looks great in game, finally, I can continue my Universe. But now, if I open CAW to attempt to edit, I get artifacting in there. Thank you so much CrookedRain for the forward motion though!

Does anyone know what causes the championships(wwe/universal) to go white if a champion is a superstar with custom plates.(like Seth rollins)?

*PLEASE HELP* Glowing, blotchy patches and glowing stripes on Alt Attire skin
Hello all. I could REALLY use your help. Got WWE2K19 for PC a couple days ago. Started making alt attires in CAW mode. Made one for EC3 that I thought looked fine but can't remember for sure. Then moved on to R-Truth. I test out the entrance and his skin had these weird glowing blotchy patches. Nothing on attires. Just the skin. Thought it could be the glitter materiel I put on his glove so I changed it, nothing.

I end up COMPLETELY uninstalling, deleting my cloud save, removing ALL TRACE of any mods or anything that existed pertaining to mods. So just the base game unchanged. I load it up, test it out. Still happens. Sometimes, its so bad that it looks like glowing stripes across the entirety of thr skin.. again, the attires parts are untouched. It's the skin.. It even happens on some CAW parts such as dreadlock hair. It seems like it could be some lighting issue. If I zoom in on highlight reel, it looks like square patches on their skin.

I have tried everything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, verified game cache (several times), updated my graphics driver. No matter what I do, same result. I look online and no one else seems to have had this problem in the 2 years this game has been out. I'm at a complete loss. If ANYONE knows the fix for this PLEASE help me! 😫😫

Either way, thank you for your time!

Hello, you are not alone with that issue, but i cant find a solution, too.
RaynorIRL Feb 13, 2021 @ 5:12pm
HOLY CRAP! I have been looking for a solution to this issue for 2 weeks nearly. I thought I was completely alone! I bought WWE 2k19 so I could start a Universe on my PC and it's been issues ever since!

So can we confirm that it has something to do with the latest Drivers or is it just AMD in general? I have an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Has there been any update on this issue since October?

OMG! Thank you SO MUCH! This has been a 2 week struggle! I bumped the thread up just now. I had nearly given up hope at ever running this game normally.

Just a reminder that modding the game breaks the game's EULA and should not be discussed on this forum.

So is there any official solution from 2K like a manuel or somethink like that. I mean, many people have problems running the 2K20 game with AMD Hardware and 2K19 have problems, too.
