This is the thread for discussing the slow-motion issues some have reported, which has been the cause for people to ask whether the game has been optimised for PC.

Here are some comparison links to the minimum and recommended CPUs and GPUs. You can put your computer's component in the drop down on the right-hand side and get a comparison.

I do play on a 52 inch 4k tv so maybe that is it? Any help would be great

Check to see if you have any overlays going on. I'm not sure if the Nvidia stuff might interfere, but using my RX 570 and invoking the Radeon overlay, oh boy, it slows the game to a crawl. Some other overlays do the same or similar slowdown. I can't remember what the other one was, a benchmark thing that would overlay, and oh yeah, think the Razer overlay caused some hiccups when I'd have it monitor fps in the game.

Es algo muy raro tengo el wwe 2k18 y el wwe 2k19, el 2k18 corre si ningún problema con todo al máximo, sin embargo el 2k19 debo retirar las sombras y bajar densidad del publico para que me corra de manera aceptable, por su puesto dándole clic derecho y ejecutar con procesador nvidia de alto rendimiento

Something that was recently reported that gamers might wanna check in case this might be the culprit.

It turns out that Windows 10 Game Mode has been causing a lot of stuttering/lag and freezing in games.

"The complaints are not just limited to AMD hardware, let alone the Radeon 5000 series. Older Radeon cards and some Nvidia GPUs seem to be affected as well."

Apart from that, I do know that some benchmarking overlays will cause WWE 2k19 to slow down and/or stutter, even run a half-rate. So check to see if that is an issue too. WWE 2k19 includes it's own Benchmark mode, look in Options area and use that rather than some lag-inducing overlay.

From what I've discerned, instead of dropping frames, the games whole clock speed lowers. It's not well optimized, but it's what we've got. Arenas and characters with lots of more complex materials will slow it down if you're not extremely high-end. Smaller matches in simpler arenas can help. Lower resolution and some settings like others have said.

That's good to hear, but it def won't be a fix to my problem.. my pc runs at 59-60 fps all the time, just seems like it hates certain matches (aka rumble) GeoForce GTX 1650 Super.. 1920 x1080 144 hz AMD Ryzen 3-3100 4 core processor I'd say its strong enough, but it really hates big matches such as rumble

Any updates? i played just fine with wwe 2k20 60fps overall no significant dipping, in this game i have 40fps and dropped to 30 most of the time -_-, i have the same pc rig, amd rx 470 and i3 6100

A few days ago the game ran perfect till it started random stuttering and freezing every few seconds and no what setting was changed, it keep happening.

Desktop with win 10.
Processor: Intel Core i7 3770
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB

After getting past all the system trash talking, I found a solution for laptop users. The game automatically goes to your power saving GPU instead of your graphics card GPU. Go into graphics settings, add the game as an app and change the GPU to your graphics card. Problem solved.
