This is the thread for discussing the slow-motion issues some have reported, which has been the cause for people to ask whether the game has been optimised for PC.

You can't run a low end PC and then expect to render a crap load of models and not lag. If you want that you need to buy something modern.

IDK why people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on laptops. Modern day laptops are more than capable of handling new games, especially if all you're doing is 1080p.

This game shouldn't even be that demanding anyway, just based off how it looks.

That said, I notice framerate dips during matches in MyPlayer mode. It drops from 60fps to about 40-45fps for about 8-10 seconds. This happens quite a few times during matches and it's kind of annoying.

Well I will just point out 3 facts

!. the CPU and GPU's put into Laptops are low power much slower versions of the desktop parts,

2. due to a lack of decent cooling the CPU and GPU thermally throttle down to stop heat damage.

3. the actual architecture of the motherboards in laptops is designes for spacesaving and power usage not performance a fairly good desktop machine from 3 years ago will beat any laptop on the market today in pure performance.

so no sorry laptops are not good for gaming.

Its like towing a caravan with a quadbike, you might be able to do it, but it isnt what the item was built for and it really doesnt do it very well at all.

See to all of you right there spitting out potato pc, get the game before u comment etc. remember some people do market study and don't forget there is need for critics in both high end and low ends of gaming. What may not seem beneficial to you in your current status, may well be beneficial to others.

Slow Motion issue on high specs PC

Hi, i have a big problem of slow motion with WWE 2K19 and even the older versions like 2K18/2K17.

They always worked perfectly but in this days, after a year that i haven't played any 2K games, i tried to buy WWE 2K19 and now when i start up the game it will go in "slow motion", i tried to update my graphic card's driver and even go on the Nvidia control panel as showed in some videos

Yep. I've got a case of the lags also. Strange how 18 works perfectly fine for me, but 19 is slow motion so far. I am going to assume that the inevitable patch will boost mine. I did note an earlier post about how someone installed Windows 8.1 for the game. Reminds me that Windows 10 does not like this game at all. Some of those with older machines may want to try it.

WWE 2k19 locked at 60 FPS

Just found this article. Maybe that's the reason why most low - mid tier rigs have slow motion.

Yupp, seems like it. I suspected that it was the case. Sadly I only get ~37FPS with maxed settings on my desired resolution, so I got the slow-mo issue too. Tried everything, but turning down the settings for example doesnt do much FPS wise - and playing at 800x600 or something isn't an option to reach those 60 FPS for me. I can live with 30 FPS @maxsettings+FHDresolution, but that slow-mo is unbearable.

Funfact: Was my first WWE game and I played 3 Chapters because i thought the game speed was normal...i thought it was so slow on intention, and already got annoyed by how long a match took me. There is this move where you throw someone 3 times and it took almost like 20 seconds all the time...got old real fast ./rantover

Slow motion Issue WWE 2K19

I am getting 40 fps but for some reason when i play a match everthing is in slow motion its unplayable even in the lowest setting.
2K should release a patch to fix this or i they should give us our money back.

He's basically saying that this is 329471047027249357357th time that someone has complained about this issue. There isn't a lot of useful fixes for this issue so the only thing you can really do is wait.
Also including your specs in the thread post would help.

seems like game speed is affected by fps, wich is a noob dev move - anyways, lower your settings so you get 60fps and its normal speed

It really isn't "noob dev move" it's more how the havoc physics engine works...
So you are barking at the wrong tree my friend :)
