Own Character in Universe Mode?

Hi, I'm more or less new to WWE-Games and after completing the story mode (and not finding the female story mode which has been promised - is it within the game? 0o) I wanted to start the Universe-Game but I can't add my own character.
I tried to find a solution for this but only found a guide for 2k18 which doesn't work on 2k19.
Can anyone please tell me how to do this?

When you save your character in create a superstar, there should be an option to save in Universe Mode as the second option. Select that, and then save, go to Universe mode, edit the superstars, and your character should be there, and simply just place them on a brand.

Hi, thank you for your fast reply.
I've created my character for the story mode within the "my player" section of the game. When I enter my character there I don't have any option to save it (elsewhere).
Do I have to create a new character elsewhere?

Oh, I've never finished the career mode yet to have attempted this myself. I have done it with just a freshly new created wrestler (since that's what I made first, before starting career mode) and was able to save it into Universe mode. I'm not sure if there are restrictions on the career mode character, but hopefully someone that's finished the story could help you out.

The Myplayer mode is separate from the other sections of the game, if you want to use your own character in Universe you'll need to recreate it from the creations menu and use that version.
