Ragdoll physics wont work, almost any move will put a person out of the ring if done in the wrong place. IE too close to the ropes.
the fact is the engine and way they create wrestlers isn't perfect, but in all ways I have seen lots of attempts to create a wrestling game and they come out as cartoonish, or second rate copies of this games idea.
oh and push the game up to 4K and it looks really good.
It looks just outdated because they using the same engine not a new one.
And if they could just optimise it a bit better and stop with trying too hard with light effects it would run just as good as 2k15 (and probably look the same, but still)
