How many player in local (share/splitscreen)?

I want to play it with my brothers, so i'd like to know how many of us can play this game on 1 pc with multiple controllers.

Yep, you can have up to 8 players in the ring/ringside at any time if you have enough controllers

This information is not correct. I have 8 Logitech F710 controllers which can be switched between X-Input (Xbox) or Direct Input modes. The game will only recognise 5 controllers + the keyboard so you can only have 6 players (even though there is an option to play 8-Man. If all 8 controllers are in X-Input mode, the game only recognises 4 controllers + keyboard. Assuming all 8 controllers are in X-Input mode, as soon as you try to switch more than 1 of the 8 controllers to Direct Input mode, the game crashes. I have tested this extensively myself as well as through 2K Support. The same problem existed in WWE 2K17 and it would seem the problem has either never been addressed by 2K developers or they have not been notified by the general support staff.

Still the same issue with W2K23. Haven't tried W2K24
