Again a worst carrer mode in wwe 2k games.

I don´t like the hole Carrer Mode a Story is ok but why da hell did i must win every ♥♥♥♥ Match. And sometimes the bots are so annoying they reversal every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move especialy Finisher and signiture. If i lose ok but realy i need to restart this ♥♥♥♥ again and again (if i lose). 2k dissapoints me again with a worst carrer mode in all wwe games. -.-
And the Story seems to be more comedy then everything else. THis has less to do with Wrestling it´s like a Comedyshow like Big Bang Theory or others.

I think the career mode for this game and 2K18 should have been referred to as story mode, for me 2K16 and 2K17 had what I would consider a career mode.

It would be nice if the game just had both, a scripted but interactive story mode where you have to do certain things to progress as well as a non-scripted career mode where you are free to win or lose and can play and develop how you want to.

With all of that said I absolutely hated 2K18's 'career' mode and this one does seem much better so far.

I mean, we have jokes, cutscenes and can have fun matches... But man, ♥♥♥♥ the objectives... First the crappy NXT invasion that makes no sense...
That 8 men battle royale on Smackdown is absolute bullsh!t !!! I get it, you start as a little guy, but everyone is so much better than me, Do I have to lower the difficulty or farming tower matches to enjoy the career ? :(

yes thta´s what i don´t like you must play tower mode or play online to boost your charakter to get stronger and then again this package ♥♥♥♥ for better creation of yoour charakter. I mean 2k19 is not a bad game and makes lot of fun and i like the payback system and the newe animations. But The Smack down Vs Raw Games has the best Carrer modes from 2004-2009 i think. they were absolutly nice.

? Obviously its just the pure logic that every other WWE Superstar is better then u... u start as a little guy...
i had some awesome matches in the career mode so far... i had one with shinske in japan... got me half an hour and we ended both bloody after 3 finishers 2 OMG-Moments and an "This is Awesome" screaming crowd....10/10

This is more like of a stand alone story mode, not a career mode, they should just made two separate things career mode and story mode, I just like career mode from 2k16 and 2k17 where you start nxt or main roster and just grind, that is my thing, not this story mode. and everyone with their tastes. I like to chose what title to pursue, chose my own way, forge my own story, not playing an already invented story, I just want to make my own story and I do not like Universe mode because there I have to control all wrestlers not just mine.

I have to agree with that. While I'm enjoying the story mode a Career Mode would have been a welcome addition to do after and I suspect with Story Mode it wouldn't have been as disliked as it was in previous entries by some.

The career mode itself is okay as far as story and options go. I think, they made a fairly good mode here and it's far better than in 2k18. However, the stipulations or actually conditions don't really fit... in a career mode I would expect branches... I would expect, that I have such conditions, but if I fail them, I would expect a different branching consequences, not a "game over". So yeah, it's actually more a story mode than a career mode.

If it gets too hard for you at some point, just try to play a few MyPlayer-Towers... I was also stuck at the 8 man battle royale (which is dumb to place it at the first match you ever have on the main shows with that condition... but we know that balancing issues already from 2k18, do we), but after playing the 4 easy towers, I was actually able to make it through that match.
