More units?

So I have this game on the 360, love it, but would like to play with some of the rare units such as the New York class battleship on island capture maps. So I'm asking if anyone knows a line of code to change or a mod to download that allows this to happen?

EDIT: To be clear, I have the game but am willing to buy it if there are mods for what I want to do.

That's not what I meant, what I meant is that I want to buy the game on PC, but only if there are mods that I can download to do what I want to. Otherwise I'd just be buying a game I already have.

ohhh yea, there are modw and you can even mod it youraelf on PC like i did anf also the full DLC for offline. now for your request of using new york in island capture youll have to mod it yourself to play in island capture.

I assume it would be changing the code for the New York to allow it for island capture as well as add a few other bits for the AI and such? I've never been a big modder, but it might be cool.

And what's the "full DLC"? Is it just the Mustang unit pack and the other 2?

There is the BSPHQ mod 3.0. Really good mod that adds more maps, different units, different scenarios and changes the stock units up a bit. Give it a try.

Could you share some of the unit names and types? The whole reason I made this thread was to decide if I should get a game I already have. (I just don't want to waste $15)

This mod will feature the 1945 Yamato, beehive ammunition, the P-51 Mustang, Luppis and Porter class DD, Battle of Sibuyan Sea, Operation Ten-Go and so much more. they had a change log but it was taken down. so more singleplayer maps( they dont have AI to go against) and new ships, there is also other people who hqave modded and added ships like bismarck and many others
