Unlock all units through file editing?

I wanna unlock all the special units so that I can use them in the skirmish, and I know there is a mod to do this, but it doesn't seem to work with the BSmodHQ stuff, so I've been trying to find what it is I need to edit in order to unlock all the special units. I've narrowed it down to the specific .mpak that needs to be edited, but I can't find exactly what needs editing in there. Would anyone happen to know what it is?

just do the campaign on easy.... youll learn how to play well so you know what to do in skirmish

But then what if I want to play with friends in mulitplayer? I don't want to have to wait for them to complete both campaigns as well.

Or I could just go on the forums and ask other people who will actually give me some legitimate help. It's not like I don't know how to modify it. I've already modified it for custom amounts of resource points and what not. I just can't find what needs to be changed to unlock all the units.

I can not play multiplayer since microsoft crashes/delete or whatever my original GFWL Account. I know that the Kikka and Shotingstar are unlockable by reaching rank Fleetadmiral in multiplayer so here is my question:

Is it possible to unlock the Kikka and the Shootingstar without playing multiplayer?

i know but there are other mods out there that do it if you look hard enough

The problem is, that you can't use those mods with other mods unless you combine them together, which is a lengthy process, that requires a little knowledge in the modding area.

So if you want to use BSMODHQ, you can't use the unlock units mod without figuring out how to combine them. Which is the reason I asked the question, How do I unlock units through file editing.

The only to things I know BSMODHQ v 2.0 ulock the yetfighters some time ago and i know my rank was not Fleet admiral so I think it is possible to unlock them with file editing but i do not know which files and how.

JapanEmperor I read your post with the explanation how I can use DLC Units after GFWL is down and there is this fake account think is it possible to edit this fake account i think it was the xlive.ini to tell the game that the player reached the rank Fleetadmiral or is that an false idee because i do not know enought about BSP modding and and files.

My Problem is solved you Unlock the Kikka after last mission of Japan Campaign.
I think it is the same with the Shootingstar.

You can unlock any unit if you use notepad ++ and bsmodhq 4.0. You open a folder called "Vehicleclasses.lua". Under each unit you get from the campaign there is a line called "Unlockid"
Delete this line and the unit will be available as an unlock. Backup the file before trying to change it in any way.

I found the same thing in Kantai Kessen mod but when I opened Notepad it just says UnlockedUnits = {338,374,5}, any ideas? I just want to unlock all units quickly
