They're not WW2 but "Battlezone 98 Redux" and "Battlezone: Combat Commander".

They're a mix of RTS and vehicle combat.

There is also an older game called Pacific Storm which had very similar mechanics as the Battlestations series. I've never played it so I can't tell you if its worth it or not.

Thanks. I do know Battlezone 1+2.
But Pacific Storm could be interesting.

Microprose is back at producing games and if anyone is going to do games like this one, it will be them. They've got a lot of different stuff on the horizon like Carrier Command 2. Which I believe you can take control over units and whatnot. So check out what MP has to offer.

If you like ship combat than World Of Warships comes somewhat close to Battlestations, however it is a free to play game with a grind system so you wont be playing ships like Yamato anytime soon. In my personal opinion I like the game and have played it since it was in beta and yes I went to that mainly because this game would no longer work for me. Hope this helps.

Hey, if you are looking for a game with similar gameplay and that take place in ww2, you can take a look at "War on the sea".
This game was released few month ago and is awesome.
The dev team is the same that made the very famous "cold waters" game, that is an absolute reference in RTS naval games.

From the Depths I guess, the same single-vehicle control mixed with RTS unti control. But that focuses on vehicle building

Do you already know Atlantic Fleet? It's turn based though.
