I Got the game Working in WINDOWS 10

U need only 2 files xlive.dll and xlive.ini
Put them in the games folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlestations Pacific
After that it should only be to start the game up and play

I forgotted to mention that if u want to change ingame name, open xlive.ini and change
UserName = Player1 to UserName = Freddy in my case.

This is tested on 2 PC's with newley installed game and it worked directly.
Both Windows 10 Pro, Nvidia GPU, intel CPU and SSD HD

I only bought this game to play in LAN mode (VPN) with friends, since the dead of online gaming for this game (what I know) and many others.

Thanks. I had to also download this link ( http://download.gfwl.xboxlive.com/content/gfwl-public/redists/production/gfwlivesetup.exe ) before the game would actualy launch with a menu screen. (I found the link in the discussion board.) Lastly, after downloading the link, I had to go back into "battlestations:pacific" steam file and highlight/delete all files physicaly. Then go into steam library and uninstall bsp from steam. Reinstall game, add the 2 files ( xlive.dll and xlive.ini ) to the steam folder and launch game. The reinstall seems to patch something with gfwl to the new xbox app.

Thanx for the extra info, glad u got it working.

I only tested on 2 different PC's and both worked with only put xlive.dll and xlive.ini in direct after game installation.

I got this game easly working just by downloading this two files, than I went in the game directory files -> "redist" directory and than installed "gfwlivesetup.exe". After that it start with no problems. The video settings may be bad but I managed to get in options and changed it easly.

Ok so I newer tryed to install "gfwlivesetup.exe" sinse I got the game working with the 2 xlive files.
What does it do to the game, can i use the LIVE button inside the game or what?

I don't know how many that plays multiplayer or if its possible, I only tryed to play LAN with friend but I failed last time (hopefully firewall issues)

i got the game working too on first try even by just pressing the install button and the rest is histroy (had to create a offline account to save my game but that is it)

Thanks I got it to work. Just a quick question, whenever I go to multiplayer and join a quick match it always says dissconected from windows live. Is there anyway I can play online multiplayer without this happening?

Hi Glad u got the game working. The multiplayer part i don´t know if it works. When searching online I found different stories, but u can try this and please let me know if it works. YouTube Video
