I've had this game for about a year. Launched it around June of last year for the first time. Ran fine on W7-64
Last time I played it, I was running on Windows 7, but it need a necessary file the game kept failing to download.
I believe what was needed was a dll32 exe file. Can't remember the exact one. Either way, the game was a mess: had audio problems all the way, game was full of bugs, horrible to look at, and was a chore to play. It was probably taken down simply because, it was a major failure. That's my guess.
(That place lists itself as; "The ultimate place for the sadomasochistic self flagellating removed game collector aristocrat.", so it may not be for everyone. I'm simply trying to help by revealing a source.)
There are still issues - no anti-aliasing, and widescreen resolutions use the same horizontal FOV as 4:3 ones, which results in a zoomed in image with cut off info from top and bottom. And, of course, no way to change the FOV AFAIK. And, of course, no Steam Cloud support.
But hey, it is very playable. Even if it bottlenecks on my i7-920, a CPU newer than the game, due to only utilizing a single core.
