This game here is horrible and not fun at all, it just makes me depressed and ruins my day. How can they lie to people and tell them they will give them the old experience from 2010 and then fill the toilet bowl with this crap?
They need to do something new to bring in new players if they want this game to live
Secondly, as someone who has 6k+ hours in CS, I don't think this game is as similiar as you are making it out to be. The recoil on most guns is fairly easy to control, you can run and shoot, there's a sprint function, etc... It's just barebones and is a bit slower than how I remember the original game being.
The game changed its first publisher IJJI, because Aeria Games acquired IJJI and most of their games, the other games went to gPotato or some other publisher.
Aeria stopped publishing AVA in 2015, because their license to publish the game expired and they didn't want to renew it. This is when EnMasse decided to publish the game.
The game shut down because of P2W that mainly became part of the game during Aeria, because they wanted to milk the game. EnMasse tried to fix the P2W by adding normal weapons that were just as good, if not, better, but the damage was already done.
The game shut down, because due to the P2W, the reputation of the game became bad and people left. Before the shutdown there were about 150 people left playing it.
When the game was in its prone in 2010, it had over 6,000 concurrent players.
The game was popular, because it was unique and had game modes like Escort, Escape, E-Boat and Co-Op modes that no other F2P game at the time had. Old AVA would still blow Black Squad out of the water with its many guns and fun game modes. People liked old AVA because of the way it was, they don't like this one, because it lacks what makes AVA "AVA".
If you haven't played the d game you probably will never get it and I don't blame you but I want to tell you that this game is trash and almost nothing like the old one.
I agree that those modes were good and that they should add them back, however... all because they're gone does not equate to this being some CSGO clone like others have said. It's just barebones, lacking content.
Also, I played the original... although I only had like 500hrs.
The aim punch is manageable, and the balancing from the old game was way worse. Right now, the biggest issues with balancing is the Sako and Ak-107 being broken and sniping being a bit on the op-side(although that's the case in most fps games). I'd also like to see the Para become a consistent one tap at all ranges(except extremely far), then they can keep everything else the same. That'd give it some advantages, because right now, I much prefer the M14 for a one tap weapon.
It is trying to be a CS:GO clone. Have you tried playing the game during CBT1 and CBT2 which ran in September 2018 and January 2019? I did.
The gunplay was so horrible that everyone hated it. It tried to replicate the recoil of CS:GO completely, but people hated it so much that they changed it back.
They added utility grenades like the incendiary grenade, which was never before in the game and feels like something out of CS:GO.
They made the weapons free when they previously were sold in the shop for in-game currency which you used to earn while playing, making them free is another attempt at copying CS:GO. I'm surprised they didn't implement a mechanic where you have to buy your weapons every round like inCS:GO, but then again, that is beyond their capabilities as a game developer.
Then you have only the most basic modes left in the game - Demolition and TDM. If they at least left Escort, I'd have some reason to play this failed CS:GO clone.
And finally, you have their aims to create a game that focuses on E-Sports, which will never happen considering they are using a slightly modified build of the Korean game, which means cheat creators just need to tweak their old cheats a little and they are back in business. And there are already cheaters in the game, population is dropping by the day and Steam reviews are about to drop below 40% very soon.
The old AVA was not a clone of Counter-Strike. It borrowed some features from Counter-Strike, maybe Battlefield and Call of Duty - the sprinting mechanic, weapon customization, mode with tank, the gunplay was a mixture of CS and COD, but the game was its own thing and people liked it for that, now it's trying to be something it can't be and this is the result - a complete failure, because whoever called the shots on this has absolutely no idea what people want.
but i'm with you, i don't want a csgo (a game i stopped playing) i want ava back with Rocket launchers and escorting big ass vehicles Where are the PVE modes (i don't like fighting other people)
What is wrong with you? What the hell do you mean by "trying to be a CS clone" ? Every defusal-based FPS is in fact a CS clone, because CS was the first to introduce it.
Regarding recoil: you have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you're talking about. The only gimmick of recoil in CS is that it's 100% PREDICTABLE. That's it. If you spray a full AK-47 clip at the wall 100 times without touching your mouse, it will repeat the same pattern 100 times. RECOIL IN AVA IS RANDOM FFS.
The incendiary grenade addition was indeed not necessary, no idea why they added it. Their utility approach in general feels a bit ... strange. They seem to be desperate to try random ♥♥♥♥ at this point.
So yeah, you haven't a clue what you're on about. xD
AVA Dog Turd is trying to be a CS GO clone, because they removed the content which made the game unique and stand out from the rest all for the goal to focus on competitive and balance. As you can see I'm not the only one calling AVA Dog Turd a CS GO clone and this only means others have the same impression too.
This relaunch is a complete failure, because it tries to make the game what it never was, but the reason for the failure is because not a single bit of effort was invested to make this transition from a casual Co-Op game into a hardcore PvP competitive game. The end result is a casual CO-OP game under the fake guise of a competitive game. And everyone with half a brain who plays it for 30 mins realizes it is just a complete joke.
The old AVA players realize how much of the game is missing too.. So this game fails at catering to pros, to casuals and to the old veteran players... Basically there is no audience for this game.
