Why can't i place shelf, parrot nest and composter on the second and third floor?

I can't place shelf, parrot nest and composter on the second and third floor even though there are no obstacles. Interestingly i can place everything here except these three structures. Help me please :(

The only thing I notice is that in every instance, you're crossing long sticks in the completed roof. Whether that could cause some sort of weird collision issue, Idk, but it would be easy enough to test if you're of a mind to.

I tested this but nothing changed.

Oh, that's too bad. It's odd, because shelves were added as part of one update, the composter & parrot keeping, another. And if you look at the release video for the shelves, it shows them placed on bamboo platforms.

Hopefully the devs will see your post & chime in.

Update: I started a new run, so decided to test this. Can confirm; I couldn't place those three items, either.

I sent an e-mail to developers and they responded quickly. I am sure this issue will be fixed soon.

I'm 90% sure that bird nest and composter can be placed only on the natural floor, not the man-made strcutures. Maybe it was shown in the footage video placed on bamboo floors, but I think they changed it. Not sure about the shelf, though.

Just to note, these items can all be placed on wood & mud floors.
