Multiplayer - Out-of-Sync-Problems

I'm playing Green Hell - Spirits of Amazonia with my friend, who ist hosting the game.
After startup everything works just fine. But after a few minutes, there is an issue, that coult be best described as "unilateral out-of-sync".

For him (as host) everything works, but for me as client, his avatar seems to be stuck and running on the spot. Also, animals spawning at his position won't be shown on my screen. Even if he drops something out of his backpack in front of me, I won't see (and can't take) this item. I cannot even see the treehouse he built!

But then some time later, something in the game refreshes and I can see him live and stuff just works fine.

So it seems, there is some kind of syncing-error only in the direction from host to client.

Anyone else having this problem? MP worked fine and reliable, when we played the main campaign in Early Access. All other MP-Games work fine, too.

Its been suggested one thing that can fix it is to turn off any VPNs used .

neither of us use any VPN.. we tried numerous things, nothing seems to be working

Might be late but i used radminVPN and everything worked again.
Here the guide and i think the point is "dont use steam invite/join"
