Elevator 2nd Floor Bug

So we're on survival co-op building a tree house and we're currently trying to build a second elevator for the second floor. However while the first elevator works fine the second one refuses to go up to the second floor.
Has anyone else run into the same issue and know how to fix it? If not we'll just have to demolish the second elevator.
