Water Trough not being used

i made a food and water trough, plenty of room for both, and they used the water for a bit then refused to use it again. i had to build a second one. also it would be nice if you could dump the trough incase you add dirty water to it

The food trough did the same thing. used fine for days then they would not eat from it

I could send you the save file but I destroyed and remade the troughs. do you still want it?

Not sure what that would do

build trough
animals eat/drink from it fine
Animals start to starve or get thirsty
look and see the troughs are full and not being used by the animals
destroy trough and rebuild, animals again drink and eat

this happened over an hour of game play. I never logged out
