Knife slot broken

Hello, I encountered a problem when loading my save file this morning. The knife slot is not working properly, I can put item in the the slot, however I am unable to equip it; I can only Craft (in the case of stone blade) or Destroy.

Cache integrity has been checked and is all good.

I experienced the same thing and figured they had changed the functionality and not told anyone. If so, it is a boneheaded move, since knives are pretty much the only way players build up the throwing skill.

Same normally you can scroll through all weapons to equip the knife slot but that's not working either.

Yeah, it's annoying since that means you have to carry one less tool/weapon.

Yes, this is happening to me too. It's annoying since you're basically down a slot, unless you want to open your inventory every time you want to equip the knife.

Yes. it is still broken.

On 2.1.0 the wheel selection of the blade slot stopped working but you could still select it on the backpack to equip the blade. On 2.1.1 broke the 5th slot completely , the blade cannot be selected anymore ( no equip option on the drop menu, only "destroy").

Yes exactly and as of Sunday when I played again it was still broken.

I was reading with interest the notes on the new hotfix patch and they did nothing to fix this bug. Come on guys you broke it fix it already.

Knife slot also broken for me. Can't equip from backpack, can't scroll to select. Oddly, my g'friend is still able to scroll-select her knife.

This is ridiculous. Is it that hard to fix what you broke? Not even an acknowledgement of the bug and not a word about it in the future 2.1.4 patch.

As I feared, 5th slot is still broken and the fourth slot although you can select it with the 4 key, the weapon/tool on the 4th slot does not have the submenu to "equip", only 'destroy " same as the broken 5th slot.
