not sleeping

tried to let my character sleep on my first play through, i got the sleeping screen but my character still moved, time did not move forward, and character didn't sleep. i also could not get into a bed to sleep either.

had the same thing happen to me where time progessed normally but i wasn't sleeping

As well as not actually sleeping, I cant inspect myself or check watch. I can drink and use back pack though.

thank you for reporting this issue. We made some changes to sleeping system and we are testing it right now. I hope it will fix issue with time not going faster when sleeping.

same problem here, basically my "e" button doesnt work at all. Axe only works chopping trees as well as i cant place items when biulding

Sleeping works ok for me?
Are you using the sleep feature at a bed Hold E to sleep or the sleep feature under the backpack? press zzzz
that works ok for me too??
Everything in my game is working normal.
Have you tried saving and then exit to menu and reload save?

Just for the devs to know its not happening with everyone.

I have had this issue a few times. The issue more often than not can be easily replicated when trying to go to sleep at the last few points of energy ON a scale of 1-100 you would have maybe 3-5% of energy left and try to sleep.

The screen will appear like you are sleeping but nothing happens. You exit the screen let him pass out and then get back up and try to sleep and it will work like normal.

Ive also had the issue where you try to check for leeches or inspect and it pulls up the screen and it just bobs like his arm is there but nothing is. Usually happens if you try to inspect too quickly after doing something in one of the other menus.

I have had in the past an issue where my E button wouldnt allow saving on anything, wouldnt allow me to pick up anything and wouldnt allow me to sleep though the loading bar would fill up like it was trying to but nothing would happen. I was told to start a new game when it did. I didnt start a new game though, I dont remember what I did but Ill post a link when I find my post.

My issue was similar but I couldnt pick up anything. The ultimate solution though I never mention it was just verifying the games files and then loading back in and overwriting the save game with a new save. Fixed it for me.
