Me and my friend wont spawn close to each other.

We have seen videos of people playing multi player and they spawn right next to each other. Me and My friend spawn all the way across the map from one another and cant find a way to each other. (We have even tried to see if this was a game issue and we couldn't find anything)

You will respawn to where your last sleep was in a comfortable bed . You will see new spwan place created when you do.
The C+ zzzz snooze only rechanges the energy and there is a text on the screen shows uncomfortable sleep.
Try and recall where you last slept on a bed / mattress or hammock

I believe thats how the game is supposed to work.
You were dropped in the middle of amazon jungle.

To find you friend simply hold "f" to show your watch.
While holding "f" key you can use the scroll to switch modes of watch.
You will find your coordinates and you can tell your friend where are you right now.

They are playing Co Op.

Same here. Problem is that the coop player has no items and skill. But there is some "easy" way for coop players. Build a box, put all your needed stuff inside. Build a weapon holder, put all your weapons on it. Then save on your own and just leave the game. When the host saves It's game, he also saves your weapons and inventory. That's not the best way, but currently the only way.

I have the same issue. This is not intended by the devs. When you first start your game you should always share the same spawn point with your friends. The first time I started a coop world this worked fine, but now I have the same issue.

This may hold a solution. Playing the Forest MP everyone needs to save at the time.

Thank you all for helping me, i think we have figured something out. One of us would host and the other would keep rejoining till we could see eachother in game. (It took only 1 or 2 tries for us to finnaly spawn close) Theres another where when you passout you can see how far a plyer is from you so you can do hot and cold trying to find them. But we just kinda settled on rejoining.
