Can't pick up the key

I can't pick up the key on top of the radio at the airstrip. It's still on the radio. I point my crosshair and mouse on it but cant pick it up

You need to fix the yellow cable

You need to talk in the radio first

You don't pick up the key, its being picked up in a cutscene, once you fix the radio and radio for help.
