New blueprints not showing up

I have a save with crafting level 90 and none of the new blueprints have shown up in my notebook. I've explored the entire map and have camps everywhere, does this require a new game start?

No traps, no tribal spear or bow... armor i figured out by guessing.

My old game does not have the spike trap, so started new game to test. Set up a small camp to rest and eat then noticed the spike trap was in the book. Reloaded old game no spike trap, but do have the bow trap.

Not for me started my old old game blue prints automatically appeared after a couple of minutes found new stuff and saw 2 new traps. have 3 spears cant say if any are new there.

My experience is the same as Cecie's. I started a new game and got the spike trap. 3 older saves all had no spike trap despite reloading.

Hi!

in order to unlock spike trap you have to: craft weak spear or have weak spear in inventory. Same goes for BOW Trap. Tell us if it unlocked properly with our hints.

That works yes in old game, thanks! Didn't have to have the weak spear in new game, wonder if it's because made a stone spear instead.

I did craft a weak spear but didn't add it to my inventory.

Is the tribal bow and spear something we can't craft ourselves?

A weak spear is a long stick crafted to a point. no stone head. or rope.
Yes we can craft those look in your survivor pad. On the left side open the top tab looks like a hand holding a stick , turn to the 2nd page shows a weak spear .
Look for a long stick wooden r/click it and craft
or cut down a thin tree gives 2 or 3 long sticks

Yeah... I crafted a weak spear... It worked in my new game, adding the trap to the noteboke, but not the old save.

I'm using my original old saves, I've had to revisit a lot of BP abandoned camps after the water update. Then save in a new save slot.
This is my main playing game save now. I also started a new game but as this map has all 23 bases I'm glad to say it works fine.
Try reloading that old save may fix it as we did have a problem with stacking saves but that was fixed.
Is Steam cloud sync disabled? or enabled?
You could also try validating game files.
When you save please be aware of the saving logo spinning around and don't exit till its completed.
