Cooking and smoking are not working at all
I think the main problem here is with fire. My fire duration is not reduced at all. Therefore, i cant grill or smoke meats even i build a new small fire or campfire. The only thing that i can do with fire now is making soup

This just started happening to me today as well.
After I built my own smoker I could no longer cook. (Prior to building my own I was able to use the smoker at the tribal village)
I tried building the small fire first, then smoker
I then tried building the smoker first then small fire.
I have also tried using the Largest Campfire with no luck either.

The duration on my fire does not change which makes sense with the parent comment.

Try to verify integrity of game files, fixed some other bugs for me (haven't got this one) like inventory and save files overlapping.

Update:
Verified integrity of game files: Didn't Solve Issue
Uninstall game and reinstall after computer reset: Didn't Solve Issue

Started new game:
Able to use small fire to cook again.
Bamboo Smoker Working @ Bamboo Base
Campfire (with stones) Working @ Bamboo Camp
Haven't unlocked wood smoker yet to test if that worked.

This happened to me after I left meat on the abandoned tribe's meat dryer. I went back and took it off, and my game went back to normal

a new patch is LIVE. Can you please confirm if the issue with cooking slots no longer happens?
