Maximum footbridge length

Hey, before I make plans for my new base, I was wondering if any of the avid builders has established if there is a maximum footbridge length?

Max length, no idea but I have built some long bridges. Just make sure there are no trees in the way when doing long bridges.

The bridges are also good for using as stairs in some structures. the snag is can't connect to ground floor.

Oooh, haven't thought about using them as stairs. interesting. It's a shame they don't come in a bamboo variant though, as my whole build is bamboo.

The rope foot bridge needs to connect to the platform to drop ropes to climb so yeah its only limited if you wanted to add a climbing rope halfway.

Yes there is a length limit, I did not count how many sections it goes, but you can attach the ghost bridge to your build and walk it out to where it stops... (and build your next platform there. ) ALSO- if you place a bamboo water platform next to shore, you can build bridges from those up to your platform, which will allow you to walk your sled right up into your build. Good stuff !
