Bug with equip in a multiplayer

I'm on day 18, and I'm the host in a friend's multiplayer game. When you get to the landing strip area, there's a zipline and diving area up ahead. When I start the game the next day, it won't let one of my freinds go down; She don't even get the option. I've tried everything. What can I do?
