In dedication to: Green Hell and the Devs.
Handmade miniature scale model Log Sled, and homemade dark chocolate Mud Brick candies! :steamhappy:

This actually all started out in the middle of making some homemade sour dough bread. While waiting for the loaf to rise, I decided to start some random homemade chocolate candies (made from dark chocolate chips melted into extra virgin coconut oil with a little bit of corn syrup; (almost like a Tootsie Roll but less sugar, softer and less sticky  )).
After rolling and forming them, they started to resemble the mud bricks from Green Hell, and they also looked really lonely lol, so I figured they're gonna need a Log Sled too !!!
So I spent my next two days searching for nice & worthy sticks and meticulously crafting a miniature model Log Sled for those lonely chocolate Mud Bricks!

A good "fun-in-hell" game with a good story (despite the bugs/flaws) deserves some sort of replica crafting irl...
~ I dedicate this handmade miniature model Log Sled & homemade chocolate Mud Bricks to the Creepy Jar devs & Green Hell :steamhappy: Cheers!

Scale model approximately 6" x 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" (152mm x 57mm x 44mm).
Made from real sticks (pine, oak, ..and other?) found on the ground in my backyard woods.
Super glued and tied together with natural manila hemp rope/string.
I really enjoyed making it!

You did awesome just one thing I would be certain of, make sure that you have their permission before you create anything from the game or any game. You can get into trouble when you create people or items that were in a game without any permission. Creepy Jar Studios is pretty cool about this but I would just make sure you get permission.

Especially if you intend to keep it the item long term. While they give permission sometimes usually they'll tell you that you just can not reproduce it or sell it.

legally even if it were a Pokemon, you just can't sell copyrighted things. The items shown are not copyrighted, or could be. The characters though probably can.

Kara Respectfully, copyright would not only apply to characters.

Objects are copyright as well. If you look in Creepy Jars EULA. Like I said they are pretty cool about things but its always good to ask before you recreate anything in a game.

III. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

1. Content of the GAME (including any parts of the GAME, among others – central figures of the GAME, objects and accessories of the GAME <==

, graphic images, photographs, animated films, video- animation, video clips, sound records, sound effects, the music, the textual game record, dialogues and other parts of the GAME software) is protected as the subject of the copyright as defined in applicable laws of the US and/or other countries. Usage of materials protected by law without consent of the COMPANY and in the way contrary to EULA results in breaking by the USER EULA conditions and is forbidden.
2. Through the account on the Steam platform the USER can inspect the content of the GAME and download and install The GAME exclusively in order to play the GAME.
3. By the installation of the GAME and playing the GAME the USER apart from obtaining the EULA from the COMPANY is acquiring no further rights to the intellectual property consisting the GAME and/or related with the GAME.

I encourage people to be creative I love the idea I just want to make sure people know to ask about that stuff first. Some game titles don't mind and will grant permission others will not at all. I have gotten permission a few times for a few different sources and for a number of things. It never hurts to simply ask first. I love the sled and that people are still excited about the game. I love the game and I still play it.

Thanks!
I understand the policy/rules/legality of selling/making of copyright items.
I would never sell this, it took great care & a long time to make, and it means more to me than money ever will. It'd be like selling my left arm or my liver or something.. NEVER gonna happen.

Hopefully Creepy Jar is all cool with it, I mean, they should be honored that I took the time and used "real life crafting skills" to make one of their video game items for personal keepsakes and to just share pics of it.
It'll NEVER leave my possession, that is unless Creepy Jar wants to buy it from me for $100,000 lololololol :steammocking:

I made a miniature clay sculpture of Jake and a miniature banana leaf hut with a small campfire and showed how I created it with the go ahead from Creepy Jar back then during the early development pre release of game when it was still being worked on and a single player game.

I got the blessing from Creepy Jar first of course, to proceed. This game was the first game I was ever in involved in the early development of and I had intended to send them the build I made but it was going to cost way too much so the dev team and me had agreed it was best I keep it. Ive got a postcard from the Devs they all signed that I keep next to it. Having won some of the challenges.

As you can see here Dev Adam chimed in and said their team loved it. I love it myself I just wanted to make sure you knew that if you don't ask permission when making those inspired recreations before you make them its a violation of their EULA and the copyright agreement. So I encouraged you to ask them.

Since you did so good on the log sled you should ask if you can create other items to accompany it and showcase them here. I would love to see it if they grant you permission.
One reason this post caught my eye was that you're the only other person I know of yet, to do any inspired recreation of anything from Green Hell and showcase it.

So to that I say Cheers.
