Empty pot/shell/coconut showing meat
Anyone else seeing graphics where if you have an empty coconut shell or tortoise shell or pot, it often looks like there is chunks of raw meat in the shell? I rarely make stew, but since the new update, 90% of the time my water holding items look like there are meat pieces in them.

I'd take a screenshot, but the way this game works, every time I try to screenshot with Steam hotkey, this game switches to the "Do you want to change input mode" prompt, and I just get screenshots of that.

I'm also getting mystery meat in my bowls/turtle shells/etc.
It also affects those filled with clean water.

Also had a weird problem where moving a turtle shell with clean water onto a cooking spot made it into a 'soup' which gives 25/25 hydration but also gives 3 food sickness...very weird. Doesn't happen all the time though.. not sure what is wrong.

That's what happens when soup goes bad in the game, you get hydration and food poisoning. Very strange bug, I thought it was only a visual thing.

I'm also getting this visual bug on containers filled with clean water -- or those same containers emptied and put in my pack. It's super weird and gross-looking.

At first, I thought it was a new mechanic where containers could become unclean and I threw out a bunch of coconut shells because I was scared to drink from them.

I see it all the time, both in coconut shell halves as well as turtle shells. It says the water's clean and I don't seem to be bothered by drinking it.

djr5899 use f12 to take a screenshot.
Then click on screenshot in library and select upload to Steam community then share the link to it from viewing it online

I guess this "meat" should show you, that the jar you are using is not clean enough.
If this germs pop up, just clean it in water. Don't drink, or you get parasite.
Put the pot, coconut etc in the river and the germs are gone. Or if you gather water from rain outside, just spill it and wait till it fills up again.

Hey TiRAR is right. I dropped my dirty coconut bowls in the water and they became clean again.

I drank from the 'dirty' ones under my water collectors and didn't get any parasites, though. So It could just be a post-update visual bug.

Yeah, I get the same on CoOp and on Solo. It shows chucks in the bowl, but it does not seem to make me sick when I drink from it. It's just an oddity on my game, not an issue.

Yesterday I drank endlessly from my "dirty" coconut shell bowl and turtle shell bowl without once acquiring intestinal parasites or other nasty buggers. I enjoyed a variety of mushroom, capybara, tapir, giant anteater, fish, and turtle soups (got an achievement for that). All this because I belong to PETA...People Eating Tasty Animals. Great fun for the entire family!
