Inaccessible cave/rope locations in SOA?
I'm approaching the end of my first playthrough of Spirits of Amazonia, and I'm having a hard time finding/accessing the final few cave and climbing rope locations in maps 2 and 4, based on the completed maps here .

I can't for the life of me access these areas, so I'm looking for advice as to what I'm missing. Specifically:

Map 2, 33W 29S: The completed map shows a rope and cave to the south of Anaconda Island, but as far as I can see there's no way to get up there either directly or through an underwater cave in the lake next to the nearby legend stone at 34W 29S.

Map 4, 33W 29S: Presumably the same rope as above, with a marker for some rock thing (?) nearby.

Map 4, 34W 33S: I'm guessing this is connected somehow to the above and part of a shortcut between that area and Anaconda Island, but the rope is up on the log and I don't see any way to get up there to lower it.

Map 4, 35W 34S: I've been all along that area multiple times and don't see any obvious cave entrance there.

Or were these deleted in a previous update or something?

I've already completed all legends and rituals for the first three tribes but these last few markers before I move properly onto map 5 are irritating me, so any suggestions are appreciated!

I discovered that location from map 2 as just a shortcut into map 4. I don't recall it serving any other purpose than just a shortcut. The cave used to have a dead end with boulders. Now it has a nook there with a log sticking out maybe 10ft high with a rope.

i can describe the cave as being the one with a small pool in it. You have a long log ramp up to some places to hope over like 3 times to a legend stone. The pool it's self has a bit of stalagmite you can hurt yourself on when you HAVE to jump down to leave the stone area.

The new SOA3 log rope location you are looking for is near that pool of water. (This is recalling from memory). I wish I could remember what it looks like on the other end, but I think it's just a bunch of climbing down.

Are you playing SOA 3?
Have you found the Airport?
From Anaconda, head out the bottom bridge then at the end of the bridge turn right> walk a small distance till you see a very large boulder> here you turn left walk diagonally NW you will find a path heading up winding path pretty nice really, That leads to a climbing rope, there is another further up climb that also , then walk north a little bit and walk left till you see a small path heading north again comes out at the Airport. Find the map on the wall on a pinned board.
There is a climbing rope at the top of the airport East. Here you can see the 2 climbing ropes staight across from flag also at the end of the airport top.

Have you found the Tribal Village?
Walk out from the radio straight across to the flag behind that flag up against the rock wall is the climbing rope look out for rattle snake.
There is a corridor up that rope walk to the end there is another climbing rope that leads down to the tribal village SOA 3.,

Thanks both for answering.

I think what you might be describing here is the nearby 35W 36S rope on map 4, which goes down into the ground through a small crack and links back to a cave system like you describe on map 1?

Trust me, I've searched quite extensively around these locations on both map 2 and map 4 but don't see any additional cave system or ropes that I can access from anywhere. I looked at both areas again today, with no luck. The fact that the rope at 34W 33S (map 4) is up and needs to be let down suggests that the access point is probably on map 2... but if it is I can't find it. There's also a small lake near the legend stone at 34W 29S that has a small underwater cave, which appears to be blocked by rocks in a kind of "X" shape, so impassable.

I vaguely remember finding the shortcut from map 4 to map 2 (or their equivalents) in story mode, which IIRC meant using the grappling hook from the south side and then a swim. But it seems to be configured differently in SOA (because no grappling hook and the cave appears to have been made impassable).

Yes, like I said in my original post I've done everything for the first three tribes and everything on the the first four maps except the things I mentioned. That includes finding the airport and all of the tribal villages. I've also already been over to map 5 via the Snake Pass but haven't done the tasks there yet, just destroyed a few enemy camps.

I think what you're describing is the climbing rope to the east of Anaconda Lake at 32W 25S (map 2), which leads to the airport, the 3rd tribe, and maps 3 and 4. Needless to say, I've already found that (I wouldn't have gotten to the third tribe or have the maps otherwise).

The place I'm talking about on map 2 is to the south of that, in the very south of the Anaconda Lake "area", as shown by the map markers on the maps I linked to originally. Like I said, I've done everything else and I'm just looking for these last few markers I can't find.

So I just finished the game, and actually the map 2 one (33W 29S, south of Anaconda Lake) is the cave you wake up in after the final ritual. Then there's a jump down back to the main part of map 2 (as far as I saw, this area isn't accessible again after doing so).

Still don't know about the other map 4 locations. There seemed to be an underwater cave in the lake at the place above. That might have been an alternative route out to map 4 and dropping the rope there, but it seemed like too long a dive to risk running out of air so I just took the obvious way down.
