BAMBOO SMOKER STOPPED WORKING AFTER RAINFALL

The fire stays lit but the smoker is not starting the meat smoking process...

UPDATE: It stopped raining but I still can't smoke meat...I had to rest with the meat on the smoker and still nothing...it was working before it started raining....

Ok so I had to save and exit the game and re-enter....

That thing has had issues from Day one. Its always been Buggy. Hopefully you fixed the issue in the early days we often avoided it because of the bugs.

When using either smoker, I check to see if it's working once the fire is lit; if not, same solution as you found, OP. I check them every time I use them, as you never know from one time to the next whether they'll work or not. -.-

I think it's an issue with fires in general. Sometimes when replacing a small fire, stuff on the cooking spots don't start/resume cooking. The fastest solution I've found is to walk far enough away it unloads and reloads the fire.
