How do I access a building frame?

I have looked everywhere in the notebook - There is no way for me to build a frame for windows and walls to build on to. Please help!

Building structure Frames are the top right notebook tab. This also included treehouse and
floating frames and shelters.

The next tab down on the right is the Wall / roof doorway pieces that go on the frames. Also the ladders.

Sometimes you need to do things to unlock structures but my game has been going for so long now I have forgotten exactly what the unlocking points are.

Try
1) crafting a axe.
2) Building a shelter.
3) Chopping down a tree and also a bamboo tree.
4) Picking up mud unlocks mud recipes.

Also when you build the "Frame" piece. You must finish off the ghost image before you can add the walls, roofs, doorways, balconies etc onto it.
