where are the natives?

Ive started up several games, played to day 40 on the saves. Where did the natives go? On the day 40 play through i saw 2 natives half way though, but nothing else. All camps are empty, no patrols. No nothing, just wild animals and emptyness. This is just plain boring. Ive started up several more games but the natives all seem to have emigrated to other lands. I guess they got tired of the amazone? How to fix this?

Hi! Could you please say in which mode are you playing? Is it in Story, SoA or Survival mode? Also, on which difficulty are you playing?

Ive tried several games in Survival mode (2 in Welcome to the Jungle, 1 in King of the Jungle). I have tried 1 game in Story mode. In my first game (survival mode, Welcome to the Jungle) I saw 2 natives around day 20 and not a single one ever again. In all tries all camps are empty and besides the 2 natives in that first game ive never seen a native nor has my camps ever been visited by a native.

Storymode Multiplayer NO natives for about 34 ingame Days! Welcome to the jungle and in solo king of jungle.. solo is ok... but multiplayer is broken

We are playing SOA on normal difficulty. Haven't seen natives at all in our last few play sessions. The hurt tribesmen that you rescue are still out there though.

normal difficulty, playing endless survival, it's day 60 and even if hostile natives showed up I could glomp them with the equipment & base I got by that point.

Edit: At day 73 I got the first native hostile encounter, but only after wandering away from my base & while building an outpost.

I'm having a similar issue. 60 days in Story Mode (Normal Difficulty) and no natives at all. None in any of the camps either. Soooo frustrating.

I've made an observation while taking a sunday stroll around the world: If you view the world of Green Hell as a combination of all obtainable ingame maps put into correct relation to each other, so that you gain a map of the entire world, then in the top-west where you start in I have encountered 4 natives after 73 days, in the entire eastern region which is very linearly built I have encountered 0 natives, and in the south-west (Spirits of Amazonia) I have encountered at minimum 2 hostile natives per day. This means hostile natives are almost fully concentrated into the south-west region (for which you have to follow a path traversing the entire eastern regions).

This has been the problem for me .... not playing anymore untill its fixed. Game sucks with no natives. Allright to start, but becomes boring quick

I already sent my most recent save file by email. I have spent about 37 days in the jungle and I only encountered a Native once when I was keeping a small fire for more than five days. I have not seen or heard another Native for the rest of the game despite having multiple bases.

its only story mode...
SOA works great, except of dissapearing bone axe and invisible bows
