Next time always wear armor with a rating over 20% and you wont get turned into catfood.
Or you could change the difficulty settings, but I'm not sure if you can do it mid-game and if you can remove bleeding.
After dying you can choose to either load the last saved game or quit and exit to the main menu.
Is this solo play since you say you have only one save active.
There is no auto save so you must have saved manually at the roof to be in this position of nearly dead.
How long do you have before you bleed out and die?
try and find a molinaria plant to craft a basic leaf bandage add ash to it or honey but that may not be enough usually wounds from a Puma are lacerations and will require something for infection like a plantation lilly green and white leafy plant with a bandage
Please read about lacreations

Saving over the same game is not a good idea for this reason.
Have you used any other save slots not too far back you could load into?
Instead of selecting continue use load game.
Note that when you die in multiplayer (even if you're alone) the game doesn't end, your stuff falls to the ground and you respawn. Which is cool , you may say you're given a penalty for getting killed instead of reloading. Playing a multiplayer game alone could be a slighty harder challenge than the classic singleplayer.
As before, since permadeath doesn't exist in multiplayer, I don't know if you can do it with "green hell" mode games.
