PS4 Controller.. HELP

I am using the PS4 controller to attempt to play Green Hell. I have followed a couple of videos on YouTube to set my controller up correctly. I have changed the Gyro to 'None' like instructed. However, when i load the game and change the controls to use the controller.. i am spinning with around uncontrollably looking into the air? Any help?
