Need help checking sanity

Is there a page in the notebook that tells me my exact sanity level? It's very hard to see if I'm missing any on the circle UI.

Im in the last soa area and I "think" I hit a bug of maxed insomnia the moment I got barely lvl1 insomnia. There are a ton of bee hives and even cooked crab in the hot springs ready to boost my sanity, almost like it's intentional gameplay...

No I dont believe there is any other way to measure the sanity. the skull slowly changes from pink mild insanity to red full insanity. It fills up from pink to red. One of the best ways to quickly reduce it somewhat is craft a leaf bed then place a small fire eitherside of and sleep .
The fire reduces it.
Fix the problem causing it of course :)
Insomnia is usually caused when you avoid sleeping by consuming high energy foods. This increases the energy levels which reduces the need to sleep. Avoid them for now.

Insomnia can only be treated by having a good night's sleep. You will need to find a bed and sleep more than four hours to cure one full level of insomnia.

Thank's for verifying there is no other way to check sanity level. I hope they improve on this...
Like I said it was a bug. As soon as I had 1 insomnia, it shot up to 6 within minutes. Sleeping for days or reloading a save was not what I wanted to do lol...

Also in this part of the game there were loads of sanity boosting foods around, like it was intentional. For some reason there were bee hives like every 20ft along the hot spring river. I also checked for "green corn on the cob" plants. OH not to mention there were even cooked crabs and dead birds too. It felt very much like intentional gameplay.

I didn't sleep since it was useless with a bugged lvl6 insomnia. I completed the ritual which gave me a long cutscene. Those always reset all your stats to full and healthy. It was the end of the game after that and I finished, getting my achievements.

Are you absolutely sure you didnt have a grub or something you didnt notice? possibly ate human meat on accident? Of course it could be a bug but in this game its easy to make a mistake !

My insomnia shot up to 6 which was doing -6 sanity every couple minutes. I just wanted to easily check the sanity meter without straining my eyes.

I was just messing with my game and you can make the UI bigger, my sanity is good though so im nott sure if that helped that. But the health bar ect was big. Maybe that helps.

What does this mean? Is there a game option to do so?

Yea look in i think video , theres a slider to make the user interface larger so the health bar and such get bigger.
My bad im looking its the "HUD" and it definitely made the sanity head bigger.
