Or if you really want to be a firebug ( or need charcoal) just start fires everywhere.
Yes, I know all that too, I have over 1000 hours of playing time. I think you definitely understood what I wanted, right?
Go to sleep in a bed. Faster to daylight again.
There is often a full moon.
Thank you.
You could also just hang torches on the walls or a ceiling lamp made of bones or something like that.
Creepy Jar gave us a torch and it uses tree sap but its burns for a short time or it starts raining as soon you light it lol.
Apparently not.
I thought you wanted a way to get a source of light and as far as I know the only light source in this game is either from a torch or a fire.
???
That's why I asked whether you could add something else to make it more comfortable. What do you want from me? You don't have to give me tips on how to make a fire or torch.
The way the post is worded it gave me the impression you wanted to ADD LIGHT to a base building. Well fire is light so thats why I suggested what I did.
How was I to know that what you were really talking about was adding a torch to a wall.
It says please add light to the base building. How can you not understand that? Then you're probably the only one who didn't understand that. Because other commenters got it straight away. I get really annoyed by people who always want to have the last word, even though everything has long since been clarified.
I don't want improvised methods like keeping a fire burning 24 hours a day to get good lighting.
I would like to be able to use a torch fixed to the wall or even use solar panels with batteries and lamps. The game itself has an abandoned solar panel, wires and lamps.
All of this could be used in games
Perhaps by using even a fraction of common sense, cognitive function, or even just good old basic minimal thought?
It seems to have worked for literally everyone else as you're the only one who misunderstood the question....
Multiple abandoned solar panels & lamps, which immediately looked to me like a weird thing that the game doesn't allow for scavenging things as eye-catching as that. If need be, maybe there can be a restriction on electric lights: I traversed the map yesterday & only noticed 3 solar panel boxes in working condition (and 1 broken non-repairable), so maybe the player could be restricted to having to deal with only 3 solar panels being available per session. Having to figure out a strategy for where you require light & which places can be left in the dark.
