dont want to spoil the discovery ;)
In both story I want to say you can explore that area south/ west of drug lab.
If its past the grappling gun spots I suggest you play SoA story. ;)
I haven't run all over entire locations in survival but I haven't found a spot that's not in either original story or SoA maps yet. I have heard there is one.
I do wish the gold mine was possible to access in survival mode. Want to get my greedy paws on some ... o nvm :()
Please hold up your smart watch face North. then see the drugs base and south of it is the cave for this SOA 1 area is up a log then pass through the cave watch out for scorpions.
You need these maps if you dont mind spoiler before you find the maps.

Snakes pass holey cow . That area should not be availabe in story mode or survival.
It becomes available in SOA 3 with a new map.
@MikeC. I'd dearly love to know if you get across that bridge in survival..
The map for that area is availabe at the old tent where Jake and Mia first started in Story.
Playing SOA 3
