(Planting Box) Do herbs like tobacco regrow after harvest?

Cut down the planet a number of times, but it seems to me it doesnt regrow unless you plow it afterwards & replant a dry tobacco flower. Is this how it works or am I just impatient? When looking at the planting box after harvesting it doesnt give a "growth wheel" per se, so I just assumed it needed to be replanted with another flower to grow.

It doesn't grow again you are right. You have to plow and replant the dry flower. Best to make an extra planting box and grow two. Those little plants that have the hydration fruit on them I call Tomatoes with them you can just keep collecting the fruit as it grows. Also with this small plant once grown you don't have the trouble of keeping it watered and fertilised like the bigger ones, Bananas, and the one with green fruit similar to an Avocado which is very useful if you drink dirty water as it cures the worms. If it rains they get water but if it is the dry time you have to water them yourself. Yes I am just a bit lazy!

The monstario deliscio does regrow a new flower then the long green fruit.
As I see it some plants do refruit in the wild like the unknown orange round fruits sour sops coconuts bananas etc and they regrow on our planter boxes the same.
While others like tobacco molinaria plantains we have to use the hammer on it to harvest the flowers and the leaves.
So the answer to your question tobacco doesn't regrow as mentioned.

You are cutting the whole plant as you get the flower and the leaves. So you have to replant. Other plants you are picking the fruit off such as bananas and guanabana.

As for the medicinal plants, there's plenty of flower tops to use and regrowth isn't really necessary. Just hang on to the tops and let them dry and plant them. That's what they're in the game for. As for the fruits and the like, they have seeds to harvest amd they do regrow on their own so, planting them should big a problem in this game. It's part of the job.
